Survey of household source separated organics program

This survey was conducted in Minneapolis’ “Hiawatha” neighborhood, a pilot area for testing the City’s new source separated organics (SSO) program.  Our goal is to understand how households perceive the SSO program.  Our survey is unique in that we sent one version of the survey to participants in the SSO program and a separate version to the non-participants. We can therefore compare knowledge, perceived barriers, etc. between the two groups. The MN Survey Center sent out 700 surveys were sent out on April 21, 2015, and we hope to present early results at our June 2 Waste Not conference.

The survey tool (the actual surveys) are posted below.  These are “open source”, intended for others to use with no charge or permission required.
